Patrick brings over 20 years of frontline cybersecurity and risk management leadership to every DCG engagement.
As a people and strategy leader, Patrick has guided multi-disciplinary teams through high-stakes transformations, overseeing $10M+ programs for ASX20 clients and organisations responsible for Australia’s national critical infrastructure.
His career spans critical sectors including energy, transport, ports, manufacturing, financial services, healthcare, and space technology. He’s led teams, architected enterprise security frameworks, and served as a trusted advisor to boards and C-suites navigating the intersection of security, risk, and business strategy.
Patrick founded DCG after recognising a persistent gap: the disconnect between technical security teams and business leadership. Organisations struggled with security teams that couldn’t articulate risk in business terms, executives who couldn’t make confident decisions based on ambiguous ratings, and compliance programs that checked boxes without reducing meaningful risk.
His philosophy is simple: the true measure of security excellence isn’t the sophistication of your controls, it’s whether your leaders can make confident, informed decisions about risk.
